This image is the close to what I am attempting to do with my project, with particular interest in the eyes. I found this website,
http://www.environmentteam.com/art/vegetables-and-flowers-human-portraits/, this artist has made portraits out of flowers and vegetables. One other image that got my brain working on this project was one of the examples used from another class, it was Mother Nature made out of different elements of nature, such as flowers and fruit. Mine is different since it is also a play on words. The iris of the eye made out of Irises, the flower. It's moving along nicely. This website also had some other links to artwork that was very interesting, portraits made out of the tape in audio tapes, floppy disks and other sorts on objects.
